Security Supervisor - Vancouver - Full Time

We are looking for a Site Supervisor to work Full Time at a Government site in Vancouver.

Rotation: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm

Payrate: $24.25/hour

Some of your responsibilities include:

Interior and exterior patrols

Access Control and visitor verification

First responder in building emergencies such as evacuations and medical emergencies

Following specific emergency and alarm response protocols.

Maintain up-to-date Post Orders and Site Safety, Risk, and Quality Assurance assessments;

Submit reports, time sheets, and staff evaluations as per deadlines;

Oversee training and scheduling of Commissionaires;

Leading through empowerment, and monitoring staff morale, discipline, and progress;

Ensure team maintains a professional standard of conduct, dress and deportment;

Liaise with the client to ensure their instructions are carried out as per written policy;

Contacting management in situations not covered by Post Orders.

Your Must Haves …

Valid BC Security License

Have lived in Canada for a minimum of 5 years due to clearance requirements

OFA 1 certificate

Previous supervisory experience

Minimum 3 years security experience

Excellent English oral and written skills
