Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our clients healthcare team in Reno, NV. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment. You will work closely with patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process. Responsibilities:

Perform MRI scans on patients according to physician orders

Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality images

Operate MRI equipment and adjust settings as needed

Monitor patients during scans to ensure their safety and comfort

Evaluate images for quality and clarity, making adjustments as necessary

Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnoses

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

Valid certification as an MRI Technologist

Minimum of 3 years of experience in performing MRI scans

Proficient in operating MRI equipment and software

Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
