Description

The Connecticut River Academy ( is a Sustainability Studies/Early College magnet school, grades 6-12, operated by Goodwin University on its river campus in East Hartford. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic 7th Grade ELA Teacher with an ability to motivate students from diverse backgrounds and interests. The middle grades program features a collaborative teaching model, hands-on learning, and multiple connections to Goodwin University. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong desire to work with students from urban and suburban settings, and possess an understanding of and appreciation for multicultural education. The selected teacher will experience a state-of-the art facility and become a member of a dynamic team of educators.
