Position Summary

This position is responsible for the analysis, design, and development of engaging and impactful training programs that drive measurable performance improvement. The Instructional Designer will work closely with Subject Matter Experts to translate existing and new company procedures and processes into clear, accessible, and scalable training solutions. These materials will support the learning and development of all Winsupply employees, ensuring content is practical, easy to understand, and aligned with business objectives.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities

Design and develop engaging, effective, and scalable training programs for both Winsupply Support Services Campus and Local Companies.

Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and key stakeholders to gather content and translate complex processes, systems, and procedures into clear, practical training materials.

Develop a variety of learning solutions, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training, virtual sessions, job aids, and other blended learning tools to support business objectives.

Design training programs to enhance understanding of Winsupply’s business model and philosophy, business practices, including leadership, delegation, onboarding, and day-to-day operational procedures.

Ensure all training programs are regularly reviewed, updated, and aligned with changing business needs and priorities.

Provide technical support and guidance related to the Learning Management System (LMS) and resolve user issues tied to training delivery and access.

Research and apply modern instructional design strategies, adult learning principles, and industry best practices to enhance training effectiveness and learner engagement.

Facilitate and support training sessions, including train-the-trainer programs, for both Support Services employees and local company teams.

Conduct periodic site visits to local companies to better understand business needs, gather feedback, and ensure training materials reflect real-world operations.

Partner with departments such as Programming, Quality Assurance, and Support Services to stay informed on system updates, new processes, and tools to ensure timely and accurate training.

Gather feedback from training participants, managers, and local companies to assess training effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in the field of training and development

Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Business, Education or other relatable majors

Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Experience managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Desired Qualifications

5 years in the field of training and development

Experience with administrative functions/processes within Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Project Management Professional Certification or other training & coaching certificates

Familiarity and experience with adult learning methodologies
