Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Android Developer to join our growing mobile engineering team. This role is ideal for a technically strong individual who can lead a team, interface with clients directly, and deliver robust, scalable Android applications using the latest tools and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications.

Lead and mentor a team of Android developers, ensuring adherence to best coding practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend developers.

Participate in client meetings, understanding requirements and translating them into technical solutions.

Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.

Stay updated with the latest Android technologies and advocate for modern development practices.

Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot bugs, and optimize existing applications.

Required Skills

6+ years of experience in Android development using Java/Kotlin.

Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and different versions of Android.

Proven experience building scalable, high-performance apps following best UI/UX practices.

Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.

Solid knowledge of architectural patterns such as MVP, MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.

Experience with tools like Git, Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.

Client-facing experience with strong communication and presentation skills.

Must have team leadership experience – ability to guide, mentor, and review junior developers.

Nice to Have

Experience with Objective-C or iOS development is a plus.

Familiarity with hybrid app frameworks or cross-platform tools (e.g., Flutter, React Native).
