MACHINE / FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Machine / Forklift Operator for a company based in West Alabama. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work for a company that is a leader in it’s field, taking pride in their dedication to innovation, safety, and sustainability.

Pay Rate

$18.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Days vary, 6 00 am to 6 00 pm or 6 00 pm to 6 00 am.

Machine / Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, or tend woodworking machines, such as drill presses, lathes, shapers, routers, sanders, planers, and wood nailing machines.

• Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and other storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

• Transport materials to designated locations within the facility, maintaining inventory accuracy and organization.

• Operate CNC equipment as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Machine / Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements

• Valid forklift operator certification or license obtained through a recognized training program.

• Prior experience working in a manufacturing setting.

• Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.

• Experience using basic and pneumatic powered tools.

• Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces and navigate busy warehouse environments.
