What you will do:Day to day activities include Design, debugging, and collaborating with teammates to develop highly integrated productsTechnologies include x-ray backscatter, ION Mobility Spectroscopy, X-Ray Fluorescence, and other detection technologies.
Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new featuresSupport operations with component selection and substitutionSupport customer issues in the fieldOpportunities to travel to support customers and system installation Requirements:Electrical Engineering Degree, either BS or MS5+ years of Senior Electrical Engineering experienceExperience with AC mains power design and analysis with knowledge of the National Electrical Code standard desiredDigital and analog design experienceSchematic capture using OrCad Capture or similar toolCircuit board layout experience in support of layout designerExperience leading projects and resourcesGood communication and documentation skillsKnowledge of handheld and wireless device standards Experience in designing robust electronics for industrial environments.Expertise in designing compact, high-density electronic boards.A strong understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.Proven ability in highly efficient power electronics design.Understanding of circuit board design and layout techniques for signal integrity and electro-magnetic compliance.
Analog design experience, particularly for low noise applicationsProduct development expertise working with multiple disciplines such as software development, mechanical design, test engineering, and manufacturing.
