VTL Machine Operator

Job Description

King Machine, LLC is a leading provider of tire mold manufacturing and repair services. With decades of industry expertise, we are committed to excellence in quality, safety, and innovation. We are currently seeking a skilled and detailed - oriented VTL Machine Operator to join our growing mold repair team.

Essential Functions

· Set up and configure VTL machines according to work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications.

· Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments as needed.

· Operate VTL machines to machine tire mold components to precise dimensions and tolerances.

· Inspect raw materials and finished products using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure compliance with dimensional and quality standards.

· Identify and correct any machining defects or discrepancies.

· Calibrate tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

· Perform routine maintenance on VTL machines, such as cleaning and lubricating components.

· Troubleshoot machine issues and communicate with maintenance teams for complex repairs.

· Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.

· Maintain detailed records of machine operations, tool usage, and machine performance.

· Report production metrics and any deviations to supervisors or production managers.

Minimum Qualifications

· A High School Diploma or GED.

· At least 1 year of experience as a machinist.

· Ability to read and write in English.

Physical Demands

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

· Bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching to access different areas of machinery and equipment.

· Prolonged periods of standing at a machine.Company Description
