Lead Accountant/CPA

Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Accountant/CPA to join our team! You will be responsible for day to day general bookkeeping as well as preparing and analyzing financial records for our companies.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for daily bookkeeping duties, including but not limited to: A/R, A/P, sales processing, PO and inventory controls.

There are 4 different companies operating at the same location with same ownership looking for someone to focus on accounting systems only.

Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports

Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets

Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements

Create new processes to improve financial efficiency

Report analysis and findings to management team

Develop system for information transfer to management and sales team.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in accounting or other related fields

Fundamental knowledge of GAAP

Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools

Detail and deadline-oriented

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

NetSuite knowledge.

QuickBooks knowledge.

Knowledge of agriculture beneficial
