Job Description
What You'll Do
As a Radiation Therapist, you’ll play a vital role in the delivery of safe, accurate, and compassionate cancer treatment. Under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor and Radiation Oncologist, you will administer high-quality radiation therapy treatments, ensuring each patient receives care aligned with their prescribed treatment plan. Our treatment protocols are streamlined and efficient, typically involving CBCT and Rapid Arc/VMAT. We utilize the Aria system in conjunction with a Varian 21iX Linac and a GE HiSpeed CT scanner—all designed to provide exceptional care without the need for contrast, tubes, or balloons.
Your day-to-day will include:
Reviewing prescriptions, diagnoses, and charts to verify treatment plans
Educating patients on procedures and monitoring for any adverse reactions
Preparing treatment rooms, equipment, and patient devices
Safely positioning and transferring patients, ensuring attention to any IVs or catheters
Performing imaging and simulations as needed, with detailed documentation
Delivering radiation therapy in alignment with physician orders
Maintaining patient visibility and safety during treatment
Accurately documenting setup, markings, and billing information
Adhering to safety standards and performing equipment quality checks
Managing supplies and maintaining a clean, compliant environment
Participating in chart rounds, QI initiatives, and ongoing training
Supporting clinical protocol development and confidentiality standards
Why You’ll Love This Role
You’ll actually enjoy your schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts/week
Early in, early out – typically ahead of rush hour in both directions
Rotating days off - Therapists alternate having Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays off, which means a 4-day weekend every 3 weeks (Friday off one week, then Monday off the next) and a midweek Wednesday break every few weeks—because who doesn’t love a pause halfway through the week?
NO nights, weekends, holidays, or call: Protected personal time is real here.
Balanced Responsibilities: You’ll rotate between Simulation and Treatment, keeping your skills sharp and your workdays engaging.
A specialized role with real impact: You’re not one of many — you’re a key player on a small, skilled team
What We Expect from You
Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program
Current (or eligible) certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Commitment to safety, accuracy, teamwork, and patient-centered care
What We Offer
Health Benefits within 30 days of hire - Medical, dental, vision & more!
Work-Life Balance – NO nights, weekends, holidays, or call – and yes, holidays are paid.
Paid Time Off (PTO) – begins accruing on day 1
Bring your A-game (and your A-list) — get rewarded for excellence and referrals
Competitive pay, real perks, and rewards that go beyond the paycheck
