The CI Learning & Development Partner plays a critical role in embedding a continuous improvement mindset by building workforce capabilities through targeted learning initiatives. The role translates operational challenges and transformation goals into practical learning solutions that empower employees to solve problems, streamline processes, and drive sustained performance improvement.
As a strategic enabler of change, the partner designs, delivers, and coordinates CI-focused learning programs that build key skills such as Lean thinking, structured problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and change adoption—supporting initiatives like digital transformation, operational excellence, and business-led priorities.
Working closely with area CI Partners, functional leaders, and the global L&D network, the role ensures alignment between capability building and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement an area-specific L&D roadmap aligned with CI and operational priorities.
Translate business challenges into structured learning plans that build a continuous improvement mindset and problem-solving capability across the organization.
2. Capability Building & Program Delivery
Identify skill gaps and deliver practical training on CI tools and approaches (e.g., Lean, PDCA, A3 thinking, root cause analysis).
Design and facilitate programs that embed structured problem-solving into daily work and decision-making.
Support the rollout of new systems and processes by building readiness and reinforcing a culture of adaptability and improvement.
3. Knowledge Transfer & Learning Tools
Develop and maintain practical learning resources, CI playbooks, and self-serve knowledge platforms.
Use real-world examples, simulations, and case-based learning to drive engagement and sustained application of CI principles.
4. Culture & Collaboration
Act as a local ambassador for CI, fostering curiosity, experimentation, and a growth mindset at all levels.
Collaborate with CI Lead, L&D peers, and internal SMEs to co-create impactful learning that strengthens ownership of improvement across teams.

Competencies
Strong background in Learning & Development, with proven experience in CI/Operational Excellence environments
Expertise in CI tools and practices (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, A3 thinking, Kaizen, root cause analysis)
Practical experience designing and delivering CI training and learning interventions
Excellent facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
Change management experience in complex, multi-stakeholder projects
Creative and analytical thinking to build practical, high-impact learning programs
Project and program management capability
Passion for capability development and fostering a high-performance culture
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Business, Operations, or related field
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification strongly preferred
Certification in instructional design or adult learning principles (e.g., ATD, CIPD, Train the Trainer) is a plus
