As a team we collaborate to solve problems, contribute ideas and challenge each other to ensure growth and ultimately success for the business and our employees.Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Quality Assurance Technician, you will verify product conformance to Rocky Mountain Steel Mills standard requirements and customer specifications using non-destructive testing methods, gauges, and visual inspection.
You will investigate routine metallurgical problems, determine compliance with specifications and evaluate products utilizing microscope, hardness, and tensile machines.
You will prepare samples using lathes grinders, cut-off machines, power saws, drill presses, milling and turning machines, polishing equipment, and measuring tools.
You will work with various measuring devices, hand tools, materials, supplies, equipment, and necessary safety equipment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high regard for safety.
