Temporary Special Education Teacher (Alternative Learning)

Granby Public Schools is seeking a special education teacher for our Alternate Learbing Program to provide individualized learning for students at the secondary level 6-12 who require intensive instruction due to emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges. The special education teacher will collaborate with general education teachers to modify lessons and provide engaging and differentiated academic lessons for all subjects. The teacher will work collaboratively with the social worker, school counselors, general education teacher and all related service providers to ensure student success.

This is a temporary and part-time position. Hours will be 8:30 am - 12:15 pm, Monday - Friday though October 31st.

Rate of pay will be per diem per the salary schedule in the GEA collective bargaining agreement.

CSDE certification required.
