Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP) to join a dynamic team in Columbus, OH. This role involves performing high-complexity testing, ensuring accurate diagnostics, and maintaining compliance with laboratory protocols.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field (accredited program).

Licensure: Must have American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)

Experience: 1+ year as a generalist (preferred).

Technical Skills: Proficiency in specimen processing, QC, calibrations, and lab instrumentation.

Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, strong communication, and teamwork abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for performing specimen collection, processing, testing and resulting in accordance with laboratory policy and procedure manual.

Performs quality control, maintenance, and calibrations for all analytical testing.

Assist in the collection of Chain-of-Custody Urine Drug Screens, Breath Alcohol Testing and Hair samples for Occupational Health.

Participates in performance improvement activities of the department and daily management of infection prevention and control activities.
