Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ALM Engineer with a strong background in Application Life Cycle Management, Change and Configuration Management, and software development processes aligned with Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) and ISO 26262 standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation, documentation frameworks, CI/CD, and version control systems to streamline automotive software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated documentation frameworks for customer-facing documents (e.g., Release Notes, User Manuals).
Setup, manage, and maintain CI/CD environments, build systems, and release pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git/Gerrit, and Makefiles.
Administer and integrate Version Control Systems, Change Management Systems, and ALM tools to support SDLC processes.
Create and maintain the Project Configuration Management (CM) Plan in line with ASPICE requirements.
Work closely with process engineering teams to ensure alignment with ISO 26262 and ASPICE process standards.
Contribute to efficiency improvement initiatives within Change and Configuration Management.
Design and maintain build systems for multiple derivative/device configurations using scripting and automation.
Create, update, and manage Jenkins pipelines and build jobs for software verification and packaging.
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience in Application Life Cycle Management and Automotive Software Process Engineering.
Strong understanding of ASPICE, ISO 26262, and associated compliance requirements.
Hands-on experience with JIRA, Git/Gerrit, Jenkins, and SDLC tools.
Experience with build automation, scripting (Perl, Python, PHP, Java), and configuration management.
Good working knowledge of Makefiles, linker files, and embedded software build processes.
Experience in writing and maintaining technical documentation frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications or formal training in ASPICE and/or ISO 26262.
Experience in automotive or safety-critical software development environments.
Familiarity with system and database administration in software toolchains.
