Procurement Manager Logistic Operations & 3P Manufacturing

We are a reputed headhunting company based in Colombo looking for a Procurement Manager – Logistic Operations & 3P Manufacturing for a leading MNC/FMCG company based in Colombo.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute procurement strategies for 3P Manufacturing and Logistics operations.

Manage sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of goods and services.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders across supply chain, manufacturing, finance, and commercial teams to ensure procurement alignment with business goals.

Ensure vendor compliance with company's ethical, quality, and sustainability standards.

Analyze market trends and implement sourcing innovations for operational efficiency.

Manage risk across supply partners and logistics providers.

Monitor supplier performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service levels.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in procurement, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing.

Strong understanding of logistics, contract manufacturing, and supply chain operations.

Proven negotiation and supplier management skills.

Proficient in SAP or similar ERP systems.

Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working with 3P manufacturers and logistics vendors is a strong advantage.
