Role Overview
We’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Research Coordinator. You’ll be responsible for coordinating consumer research studies to ensure sessions run safely, smoothly, and in full compliance with protocols.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lab Operations
Oversee daily lab activities and session scheduling
Prepare and maintain organized, protocol-compliant lab spaces
Monitor supplies and enforce safety, sanitation, and privacy standards
2. Study Coordination
Implement research protocols with precision and consistency
Track and document product dosing and session data
Troubleshoot basic technical issues with equipment (e.g., EEG headsets)
3. Participant Management
Recruit, screen, and schedule eligible participants
Guide participants through each study step while ensuring comfort and confidentiality
Clearly explain study procedures and document any concerns or deviations
4. Team Supervision
Recruit, train, and supervise research assistants
Assign tasks and ensure quality control during study sessions
Conduct briefings to align the team on protocols and responsibilities
5. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain organized records, including consent forms and session data
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, IRB, and internal guidelines
Assist in reporting and documentation of study outcomes
Ideal Candidate Profile
You must be a US citizen, US permanent resident, or able to legally work in the US.
Age: 19+
Comfortable working in a controlled environment where cannabis is legally consumed
Available evenings and weekends
Detail-oriented, responsible, and professional
Science, psychology, or neuroscience background preferred (college/university students welcome)
Proficient in English
You live in Ann Arbor, Michigan and are able to commute to the EEG lab
You are available and able to travel to Canada for training and key events in our main offices located at 231 Main St W, Hamilton, ON.
