This is a remote role for a Scrum Master who will facilitate agile development processes and ensure smooth team collaboration across our engineering and product teams. You’ll lead sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives while helping remove blockers and optimize our development workflow.

The Scrum Master will be responsible for coaching teams on agile principles, facilitating scrum ceremonies, and driving continuous improvement. This role involves working closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and team productivity.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification preferred

2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or agile coach

Strong understanding of agile principles and methodologies

Excellent facilitation and communication skills

Experience working with cross-functional teams

Ability to work independently and remotely

Passion for continuous improvement and team empowerment

Experience in software development environments

Technical Skills

Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and other agile tools

Experience with sprint planning and backlog management

Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and other agile frameworks

Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Experience with metrics and reporting tools

Knowledge of project management methodologies

Familiarity with collaboration tools (Slack, Microsoft Teams)

Understanding of user story mapping and story splitting

Experience with retrospective facilitation techniques

Knowledge of risk management and impediment resolution

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate all scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

Coach development teams on agile principles and best practices

Remove impediments and blockers that prevent team progress

Foster self-organizing and high-performing teams

Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and refine product backlogs

Track and report on team velocity, sprint progress, and key metrics

Facilitate communication between stakeholders and development teams

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization

Ensure adherence to agile principles and organizational standards

Mentor team members on agile practices and methodologies

Support organizational agile transformation initiatives

Apply
