Document Controller Client: Plant Location: Prairieville, La Duration: 1-2 years Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO This position is responsible for supporting the coordination of the document control and training programs to provide consistent and effective control of records, documents, and training materials.

In addition, the responsibilities include helping to develop and maintain schedules for review, routing, notifications, and oversee timely practices to control a robust system for program management.

This position includes but is not limited to document lifecycle, management, quality, security, compliance, distribution, reporting, and disposal.

Job Responsibilities: Ensure controlled records conform to requirements: approved formats, frequency, affected personnel, method, signatory/certifications, completion of records, recordkeeping archives, retention, and destruction for both paper and electronic files Provide templates, control numbering systems, approval processes, and assist with access to working master documents and flow of information from drafts to final controlled version Track record retention conformance for controlled records, including management of applicable legal holds which may supersede retention policy Maintain master record control matrix for all procedures, policies, guidance documents, programs and recordkeeping retention based on federal, state, local, and company requirements Facilitate controlled record review schedule with responsible parties and issue timely notifications to affected personnel for upcoming reviews, missing or inadequate records, and initiate and track corrective actions as necessary Facilitate coordination and development of training formats, maintaining accurate training records, and master training matrix based on job roles and course offerings Track training proficiencies for all personnel and maintain records and coordinate annual training schedule with responsible parties and issue notifications of scheduled trainings to affected personnel Develop training content using appropriate methods and software based on content provided by subject matter experts Requirements: • Education: HS or equivalent experience typically required.

AA/AAS may be preferred.
