Position Description: Part-Time Upper School Physics Teacher

Scope of Role: Latest start date will be January 6, 2026, yet could be sooner depending upon availability and qualifications.

Major Responsibilities:

Teach 1-3 Physics and Engineering sections

Provide a range of instructional and assessment strategies with technology to meet the needs of all students.

Collaborate with staff members to create engaging lessons and a positive school culture.

Provide tutoring to individual and small student groups as required.

Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Teacher should possess experience and knowledge in all levels of upper school Physics. Experience teaching Engineering courses preferred.

Demonstrated proficiency using technology including online texts, iPads, and computer interface measurements.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in subject area required; a Master’s degree preferred.

Experience: Three or more years of teaching experience at the high school level, preferably in an independent school environment.
