Summary: Work with both Plant 2, Plant 3 and Bowling Mfg. to coordinate and monitor the efficient and timely scheduling and completion of production, reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager and scheduling for production conflicts with recommendations for problem solving.
Essential Duties
1. Supervise the staff to ensure that all production items are manufactured to specified quality standards at both Plant 2, Plant 3, and Bowling Mfg.
2. Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of all equipment verifying that production and safety issues are addressed.
3. Maintain a clean, safe and orderly facility in compliance with OSHA requirements and safety committee regulations.
4. Will require consistent communication and presence at Plant 2, Plant 3 and Bowling facilities.
5. Ensure timely submission of 90 day and annual evaluations for staff.
6. Follow agency attendance policy.
7. Follow supervisor’s instructions.
8. Responsible for overseeing annual inventory.
9. Oversee one-on-one direct training is provided by Assistant Supervisors and Area Crew Leaders Assistants to increase designated operator’s efficiency and quality standards assigned by management.
10. Develop production techniques and work aides to increase operator’s efficiency and quality standards. Develop routings and process steps in conjunction with Q.C. personnel on all new projects or existing product modifications to ensure best method development and quality results.
11. Assist the Manufacturing Coordinator and Manufacturing Manager in the research and development of new projects.
12. Maintain and enforce open communication between all Supervisors, Assistant Supervisors, and Manufacturing Manager and in their absence Managing Director of Manufacturing.
13. Maybe required to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and if required lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
14. Additional hours if needed are mandatory.

Qualifications
Valid Driver’s license with excellent driving record.
Possess ability to maintain flexible schedule to meet the demands of the department, i.e. overtime.

Education and or Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. College degree preferred. Experience in needle trades manufacturing processes required. Previous experience in supervisory and leadership roles preferred.

The position requires staff to alternate from a sitting position to a standing position frequently. Repetitive motion required. Lifting, bending, twisting, and turning are required.
