What You’ll Do
You’ll contribute to the design, development, and deployment of secure, scalable solutions that support early childhood data systems. You’ll work closely with technical leads and project managers to understand complex business rules and deliver functionality that meets real-world user needs.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Design, code, test, and deploy database-driven solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and related tools
Optimize SQL queries and ETL processes for speed and scalability
Collaborate with team members to deploy software in a coordinated, user-informed way
Contribute to full-stack development, particularly in .NET and web-based environments (AngularJS, NodeJS, Bootstrap, etc.)
Participate in system documentation, functional requirement review, and user testing coordination
Balance independent development with collaborative input in a fast-paced, agile team
Identify and address bugs, performance issues, and technical gaps with ownership and precision
Communicate clearly and professionally with project teams, leadership, and stakeholdersRequirements:
Associate’s degree in Computer Science or a related field—or equivalent work/school experience
3–6 years of experience in a collaborative development environment
Proficiency in some or many of the following:
Microsoft SQL Server, C#/.NET, Visual Studio
Azure DevOps, NodeJS, AngularJS, Express, Bootstrap
SSRS, MVVM frameworks, multi-tier app design, ASP.NET
Object-oriented or functional programming languages
Scripting for automation and maintenance
Solid understanding of unit testing, integration, and design patterns
Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on early childhood, education, or public sector projects
Curiosity about user needs and commitment to designing accessible, efficient solutions
Willingness to mentor others and contribute to team growth
