Php Backend Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated PHP Back-End Developer with 2–5 years of experience to join our team in Ludhiana. The ideal candidate should have strong skills in Core PHP, Laravel, Symfony, and WordPress, along with solid experience working with RESTful APIs, databases, and modern development practices such as Docker and CI/CD.

You will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable back-end services and APIs, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic using PHP (Laravel, Symfony)

• Develop and consume RESTful APIs for internal and external services

• Write optimized and secure SQL queries (MySQL/PostgreSQL)

• Implement automated testing with PHPUnit or other frameworks

• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation via Git

• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and DevOps teams

• Participate in code reviews and team discussions for continuous improvement

• Deploy applications using Docker and CI/CD pipelines

• Handle cloud deployments and basic DevOps (AWS is a plus)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of experience in back-end PHP development

• Proficient in Core PHP and at least one major framework (Laravel/Symfony)

• Strong knowledge of RESTful API architecture

• Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL)

• Familiar with Git version control and collaborative development workflows

• Basic experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines

• Good understanding of basic DevOps practices and AWS environments

• Familiarity with writing unit tests using PHPUnit (or similar)

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
