This is a long-term contract position focused on supporting commercial loan operations and driving process improvements. Responsibilities:
• Provide operational support for commercial loan functions, including loan booking, collateral management, and servicing.
• Troubleshoot and escalate system-related issues to ensure seamless operations.
• Act as a subject matter expert on commercial loan processes and systems, offering guidance and training to team members.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into actionable functional specifications.
• Lead and manage small to mid-sized projects, ensuring timely delivery and coordination across teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups, including Risk, Technology, and Business stakeholders, to achieve project goals.
• Plan and execute testing activities for system updates, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to improve efficiency.
• Partner with technology teams to implement system enhancements and upgrades.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, timelines, and progress reports to ensure transparency.• Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of banking operations experience, or a high school diploma with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an operations analyst or business analyst in a banking environment.
• Hands-on experience supporting the servicing and operations of commercial or business banking loans.
• Proven ability to resolve operational issues and enhance processes within commercial banking operations.
• Strong critical thinking and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Experience in a production environment that requires high attention to detail and urgency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA and expertise in creating business requirement documents.
