Experienced Workover Rig Relief Operator (CDL Holder)

Job Description

A Workover Rig Relief Operator is responsible for all activities in regards to operating a workover rig, supervising a crew, and ensuring customer satisfaction with all services when rig operator is not available or needs assistance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Ensures all crew members are at work on time and properly prepared

Operates the rig and equipment in accordance with DOT regulations and those requested or designated by the customer

Maintains contact and communication with customer

Maintains productivity standards for all rig employees and adheres to all applicable government regulations for compliance.

Ensures efficient maintenance of assigned rig and crew truck

Drives crew truck

Maintains and inspects tools and equipment

Attends and participates in safety meetings

Understand and comply with company, customer, and health/safety policies, and any other regulations that are required.

Reports any and all incidents immediately.

Able to work in all weather conditions

Performs other duties as directed by management.

Required Skills

Must be able to work in fast-paced environment

Must possess organizational and problem-solving skills

Must be able to work with a team

Must be able to lift 60 lbs. and handle physical demanding work

Must be able to communicate using oral and basic written communication

Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol screening and participate in the random testing pool

Must pass a background check and motor vehicle record check

Arrange for reliable transportation to and from work

Qualifications

Work Environment

This job operates in an outside environment. The role routinely works in all weather conditions, including but not limited to: extreme wind, rain, cold, heat, etc.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work as job duties demand.

Licenses & Certifications

Valid Driver's License

Class A or B CDL preferred

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

Previous workover experience preferred
