Description
Does the opportunity to devote your talents to a cause much greater than yourself excite you? If you enjoy making systems better, finding simple solutions to complex needs, and ensuring users have the tools and workflows they need to succeed—this could be the right role for you. The Arbor Day Foundation is a place where you can do work that matters, with people who care. As we say at the Foundation: life is short, love where you work.
The Arbor Day Foundation is a global nonprofit inspiring people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees. We foster a growing community of more than one million leaders, innovators, planters, and supporters united by our bold belief that a more hopeful future can be shaped through the power of trees.
Join the Arbor Day Foundation as a D365 CRM System Administrator to lead the ongoing configuration, performance, and optimization of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement platform. You’ll be part of a collaborative agile team—including a Business Analyst, Engineer, and Enterprise Architect—working to enhance and scale how we use CRM to serve business needs.
This role is based in Lincoln, Nebraska, and reports to the Manager, Systems & Quality. Team members are expected to work in the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with optional remote work on Wednesday and Friday.
What you’ll do:
Own the day-to-day administration of Dynamics 365 CRM—configuring forms, views, dashboards, security roles, and model-driven apps using out-of-the-box tools.
Design and manage workflows and Power Automate flows to streamline processes and boost user efficiency.
Monitor and maintain system health, keeping test and production environments aligned, staying current on Microsoft updates, and making proactive adjustments.
Ensure secure, reliable access by managing permissions, roles, and user accounts in line with best practices.
Collaborate closely with the CRM team to understand business needs, translate them into system improvements, and participate in agile sprint planning, demos, and reviews.
Support testing, training, and user adoption, helping teams make the most of what CRM can do while keeping the platform clean, scalable, and aligned to strategic goals.
What you’ll bring:
Passion. For the Foundation’s mission, nature, environmental stewardship, and people.
Our ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience administering a CRM system (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365).
A strong understanding of system configuration, workflows, and CRM architecture, with a focus on using low-code/no-code tools to meet business needs.
Familiarity with Power Platform, especially Power Automate and model-driven apps.
Experience translating business requests into practical, maintainable solutions that improve user experience and system performance.
A collaborative, proactive mindset and ability to thrive in an agile, cross-functional team environment.
Bonus: Dynamics 365 certifications or experience with CRM system governance and integration.
