FIT LIFE Health Clubs is a dynamic, multi-location health club chain dedicated to empowering our members to achieve their fitness goals. We’re seeking a talented Web Designer & Digital Marketing Manager to elevate our online presence and drive engagement across our communities.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled professional to update, maintain, and enhance our website while managing all marketing and social media efforts for our multi-location health club business. This role requires a creative, organized individual with expertise in web design, digital marketing, and social media strategy to strengthen our brand and attract new members.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Management:
• Update and maintain the company website to ensure functionality, user-friendliness, and alignment with brand standards.
• Implement design changes, including responsive layouts, UI/UX improvements, and content updates using platforms like WordPress, Wix, or Webflow.
• Optimize website for SEO, load speed, and mobile compatibility.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with third-party vendors as needed.
• Integrate features like class schedules, membership sign-ups, and e-commerce functionality.
Digital Marketing & Social Media:
• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns to promote gym memberships, classes, and events across all locations.
• Manage social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok) by creating engaging content, including posts, stories, and videos, tailored to our fitness community.
• Design visually appealing graphics and promotional materials, incorporating brand elements like our neon glow logo or patriotic themes for events (e.g., Memorial Day Murph Workout).
• Monitor social media performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies to increase engagement and follower growth (targeting 5,000-100,000 followers per platform).
• Implement paid ad campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Instagram, optimizing for ROI and lead generation.
• Craft email marketing campaigns and newsletters to nurture member relationships and promote special offers.
Brand & Strategy:
• Align all digital content with FIT LIFE’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across web, social, and marketing materials.
• Analyze website and marketing performance using tools like Google Analytics, providing regular reports with actionable insights.
• Stay updated on fitness industry trends and competitor strategies to keep our marketing efforts innovative.
• Collaborate with club managers to highlight location-specific promotions or events.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in web design/development and digital marketing, preferably in fitness, hospitality, or multi-location businesses.
• Proficiency in web design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma) and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Wix, Squarespace).
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SEO best practices; JavaScript a plus.
• Expertise in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and ad platforms (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads).
• Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) for creating branded visuals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting compelling marketing copy.
• Analytical mindset with experience using Google Analytics, social media insights, or similar tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for fitness and understanding of the health club industry is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience managing websites with e-commerce or booking systems.
• Familiarity with video editing for social media reels or promotional content.
• Proven success growing social media followers and engagement (e.g., achieving 338+ Facebook friends or 150+ Instagram followers as a baseline).
• Ability to incorporate creative themes (e.g., fitness related material, Brand consistent verbiage and images, and patriotic designs for holidays) into marketing assets.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Competitive salary based on experience (60,000 -75,000 annually, depending on qualifications).
• Company pays for 50% of medical insurance and the employee pays for the other 50% as well as dental/ vision insurance.
