Description

Title: KVCC Advanced EMT (AEMT) Faculty

Bargaining Unit/Salary Level: MSEA Faculty

Responsibilities:

The AEMT full-time faculty is responsible for all aspects of delivery for AEMT courses. Educational responsibilities include teaching, clinical skills instruction, timely assessment of student progress, curriculum development and review, and academic advising. Schedule may include day and evening classes and online or hybrid courses. May also include assisting with the delivery of Paramedic programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Maine EMS AEMT license or equivalent

Maine EMS Instructor Coordinator License

Associate’s degree

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Baccalaureate degree

NREMT certification

Licensed at the Paramedic level

American Heart Association Instructor for ACLS, PALS, CPR

National Association of EMT Instructor for PHTLS, AMLS, and EPC.

Understanding of the CoAEMSP accreditation process
