The Role

We’re looking for a Quality and Customer Lead to join our high-performing Dandenong team. In this key site-based role, you’ll lead quality systems, drive continuous improvement, and be the first point of contact for customer quality issues. You’ll also collaborate closely with stakeholders across operations, engineering, and marketing to uphold the highest standards of product excellence.

This is an exciting opportunity for a quality professional with a strong background in FMCG, food safety systems, and stakeholder engagement to make a real impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The role reports to the Operations Manager and works closely with the National Quality Manager as well as key cross-functional teams, operations, engineering and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all site Quality Assurance and Control activities

Manage customer complaints and non-conformance reports

Maintain and ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO 9001

Oversee internal and external quality and food safety audits

Coach internal teams on quality systems and best practices

Own quality across warehousing, transport, and production

Lead quality trials, decoration approvals, and system improvements

Analyse quality data and drive continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring

5+ years' experience in FMCG quality roles, ideally in manufacturing

Tertiary qualifications in Quality, Food Technology, or related field

Expertise in HACCP, GMP, ISO 9001 (Lead Auditor certification desirable)

Strong experience with SPC, root cause analysis, and QA systems

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
