The Architecture EPM is responsible for leading projects from initial highly ambiguous ideas to converged requirements and stable system architecture. Key responsibilities: - Document and track product definition baseline, opens/risk, and convergence plan. - Identify criteria, dependencies, alternatives, risks, and timeline associated with all product decisions. - Collaborate with cross-functional organizations at all levels. - Engage technology partners in order to explore new technologies, and determine readiness for product intercept.
BS in Engineering required, Mechanical or Electrical preferred
Experience in hardware engineering or program management
Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles
Knowledge of product development and manufacturing processes
Rapidly gets up to speed with new technology and ideas
Good understanding of technology and the consumer electronics industry
Demonstrates creative and critical thinking capabilities
Able to generate clear and accurate visualizations of quantitative data
Excellent oral and written communication, active listening, and presentation skills
Equally comfortable in big-picture strategy and deep technical discussions
Able to comprehend, communicate, and manage complex design tradeoff decisions, with superior attention to detail
Works collaboratively, builds trust with other teams, and able to influence others without authority
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $305,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
