We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Test Engineer-Python with experience in wireless connectivity technologies and embedded systems to support automation testing.
The role involves hands-on testing, automation development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of WiFi, Bluetooth, BLE, Thread, and Matter technologies.
Your role
Design, develop, and execute automated test cases for WiFi, Bluetooth/BLE, Thread, and Matter technologies.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation code following coding standards and best practices.
Review and validate new features for compatibility, feasibility, testability, and coverage in alignment with internal technical specifications.
Plan and set up specialized test environments and hardware test beds for feature characterization and system-level testing.
Analyze test results, identify issues, and file detailed bug reports.
Maintain comprehensive documentation including test plans, test cases, test matrices, coverage reports, and design artifacts.
Generate and deliver test execution reports, logs analysis, and regression summaries.
Your skills and experience
5+ years of experience in Python automation for embedded or connectivity systems.
Proven experience in connectivity automation testing for embedded devices (e.g., WLAN Access Points, WLAN clients).
Solid understanding of at least one wireless protocol, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth/BLE, Thread, or Matter
Strong experience in Linux-based systems with networking.
Proficiency in one or more test automation frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Robot Framework, unit test, Nose, or proprietary frameworks).
Familiarity in integrating the test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
Optional skills and skill proficiencies
Hands on experience in smart home automation.
