Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the Security Guard ensures the safety of HICHC property and personnel.Key Responsibilities

Observe, document, and report activities and incidents.

Watch for irregular conditions that may create security concerns.

Sound alarms or call police/fire department in emergencies.

Preserve order and enforce regulations.

Patrol assigned site; check for unsafe conditions and security violations.

Respond to incidents like fire, medical emergencies, and hazardous materials.

Monitor parking lots for authorized vehicles.

Investigate and prepare reports on accidents and suspicious activities.

Assist patients, employees, and visitors courteously.Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.

High school diploma or GED required.

Obtain and maintain required security licensure.

Pass a pre-employment drug test.

Effective communication and active listening skills.

Ability to assess situations and identify critical issues quickly.Confidentiality

Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding personal and professional data.
