General Worker-Harvest

JOB DETAILS: Job Overview To ensure that fish are moved from grow out cages into smaller cages for the fish to be harvested the following day.

KEY DUTIES Ensure that fish is seined from grow out cages and be handled with great care.

Harvest fish in a manner which is efficient and maintain good quality standards of fish.

Ensure that fish are entered into the cold chain (into ice slurry as quickly as possible during harvest). Ensure ropes and nets are always tied and secured properly during and after harvest.

Follow the supervisor’s instructions for correct harvest SOPs.

Promote and maintain good housekeeping practices by maintaining a neat and tidy work area.

Properly handle and keep all Harvest equipment in good condition.

Adhere to the established Company’s health and safety policies.

Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor / Line Manager.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE At least a Certificate in Fisheries Management and Technologies.

Need to be able to swim and be comfortable on water.

Ability to solve and do simple math calculations.

Good Communication skills including reading and writing Skills.

High self-motivated and working with minimal supervision.

Physically able to lift 25kg and have good endurance with this.
