Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Pre-Litigation Settlement Coordinator to assist with reviewing and closing out personal injury cases in the pre-litigation phase. This role involves negotiating with insurance adjusters, coordinating with clients and providers, and ensuring cases are efficiently prepared for settlement and disbursement.

The ideal candidate has experience in personal injury or insurance claims, is highly organized, and excels at follow-through and client communication. This is a key support role in helping our firm move cases to resolution and deliver meaningful outcomes to clients.Compensation:

$30 - $36 hourlyResponsibilities:

Communicate directly with clients to facilitate case closure and obtain necessary documents

Review and summarize medical records to support case value and settlement strategy

Draft persuasive written communications, including supplemental demand letters and counteroffers

Conduct factual and legal research to strengthen case positions and support negotiations

Negotiate with insurance adjusters and defense counsel to reach favorable settlements

Coordinate with medical providers and lien holders to ensure accurate case resolution

Track and manage a high volume of cases efficiently to ensure a timely closure

Maintain detailed documentation in the case management system and support the disbursement processQualifications:

Preferred - Candidates to have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program, such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, or a Bachelor’s degree is preferred

Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills and time-management skills

At least 3-5 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting, preferably specializing in personal injury law

Talented verbal communicator and writer

Understands personal injury from beginning to end (big picture process) and has experience working with wrongful death casesAbout Company
