Job Description

We are a well-established steel erection company specializing in the installation of structural steel components for a variety of projects, including schools, hotels, self-storage facilities, and other commercial buildings. We also handle repairs and renovations to existing structures. We are currently seeking an experienced Ironworker Welder to join our Steel Erection Team.

Position Overview:

The Ironworker Welder will be responsible for leading the installation of structural steel components such as columns, beams, girders, joists, bridging, metal decking, and other materials. The role includes ensuring that all steel-related materials are installed to form complete buildings, as well as overseeing repairs and renovations on existing structures. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to read and interpret specifications and blueprints, along with extensive knowledge of the materials, methods, and tools used in steel construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation of structural steel components (columns, beams, girders, joists, bridging, metal decking, etc.).

Lead a team in executing the erection and assembly of steel frameworks for buildings and structures.

Interpret specifications, blueprints, and other technical documentation to ensure project accuracy and efficiency.

Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control measures, and project timelines.

Manage repairs and renovations to existing structures as required.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as an Ironworker or Welder, with specific expertise in steel erection.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical specifications.

Strong knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in steel construction.

Understanding of safety, quality, and cost control standards within the construction industry.

Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively on-site.
