Machine Operator

Job Description

Acloche has immediate openings for a Machine Operator in Columbus, Ohio!

Primary duties of the Machine Operator include:

· Responsible for operating machines, and handling materials.

· Keep assigned tools organized.

· Mechanical aptitude is a must, as well as ability to perform basic mathematical functions.

· Familiar with computer operating equipment.

· Perform assigned tasks in a timely and orderly manner.

· Ensure quality of work.

· Keep work areas clean and organized.

· Maintain safe work practices and environment.

· Ability to work on various machines, and additional departments.

· Communicate as necessary with coworkers and supervisors.

· Always Work safely by abiding by all O.S.H.A. regulations.

· Ensure that order commitments are met.

· Meet or exceed production goals.

· Follow process monitoring instructions.

· Promote continuous improvement through input and feedback

· Additional duties as assigned by leads, supervisors, and management.

· Able to work on an off shift.

Requirements of the Machine Operator include:

· Must be able to use a micrometer, and a tape measure.

· Heavy lifting (up to 60 pounds), bending, and stooping might be required.

· Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

· Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

· Strong work ethic.

· Punctuality is a must.

· Must have at least two years of experience as a machine operator and it must be recent.

Hours: 3rd shift Friday- Saturday 7:00pm – 7:30am

Pay rate: Starting pay is 19/hour and goes up depending on experience.
