What you’ll do at OhioMHAS:
As a Licensed Dietitian you will:
Attend interdisciplinary team meetings as requested and provides input regarding clients' nutritional needs.
Ensure Medicaid compliance in area of dietetics and nutrition.
Complete annual nutritional assessments for each client and reports such problems with dietary recommendations to the treatment team.
Plan, evaluate, and implement regular, special, and modified diets.
Prepare quarterly reports of dietary and nutritional progress (e.g., charts treatment plans and progress notes).
Train clients and in-services staff regarding proper nutrition and compliance with the dietary prescriptions.
Confer with food service personnel, management and direct care staff regarding quality control, effectiveness, and efficiency of food service system.
This is an hourly position covered by the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of 11 on the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 Pay Range Schedule. Normal working hours are Monday - Friday daytime hours. This position is located within our Central Ohio Behavior Healthcare Campus at 2200 West Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43223.

Current licensure as dietitian as issued by Ohio Board of Dietetics per Section 4759.06 of Revised Code. If employed at Ohio Veterans' Home, must also have 1 year supervisory experience in dietetic service of health care institution & participate annually in continuing dietetic education.
Job Skills: Medical
