The Senior Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing processes utilizing the Salesforce platform and other sales technologies to increase user adoption and drive best practices. Effectively communicating and prioritizing initiatives, the Senior Salesforce Administrator will managing all aspect of the Salesforce Platform within proper change management and governance.

Role and Responsibilities

Manage and execute Salesforce configuration changes, including flows, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports

Plan and execute migration and integration of incoming acquisitions

Drive end-user training, adoption, and change management initiatives for Salesforce

Act as the Product Owner for the Customer Relationship Management (CRM)platform and adjacent technologies such as Sales Navigator, D&B Connect, Construct Connect Insights, Partner Portal, and B2B Commerce

Manage the product backlog and prioritize user stories

Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives

Oversee all aspects of user and license management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, Organization Wide Defaults, and sharing rules

Possess an understanding of basic triggers, Apex code knowledge, Sales Cloud Einstein, Data Cloud, Tableau Pulse and AgentForce

Manage Sandbox environments and DevOps/release management processes

Identify and gather requirements, translating them into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience

Identify and recommend improvements for unused or underutilized platform features

Create a platform roadmap, define priorities, and liaise with stakeholders

Communicate platform changes to end-users and stakeholders effectively

Implement data management strategies to improve Salesforce data quality, including rules and automation

Perform proactive system maintenance, including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Checks, and Optimizer

Manage user support tickets and monitor user adoption

Maintain technical documentation

Manage integrated applications and third-party suppliers, including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, D&B Connect, Vision e Scan, Construct Connect Insights, and any future integrations

Stay up-to-date with Salesforce best practices, new features, industry trends, and recommend improvements or enhancements to maximize the platform's value by being active in the community and attending local and national salesforce events as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, or a business-related field

Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing Salesforce instances

Salesforce Administrator Certification; additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder) are highly desirable

Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and security best practices

Experience with Salesforce integrations, particularly with Microsoft Dynamics ERP and marketing automation tools

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners

Nice to Have

Experience with Engineer-to-Order (ETO) B2B sales models
