Overtime is required during the busy season.nMust be willing to working evenings and weekends when needed.nHourly rate is dependent on experience.nHealth benefits and vacation pay offered.nnJob Description:nnOperate scrapers to move, haul, and grade earth efficientlynAssist in site preparation by clearing debris, leveling terrain, and ensuring a safe work areanSupport road construction activities by maintaining proper grading and material distributionnConduct pre-operational equipment inspections and report maintenance needsnWork collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and job site efficiencynAdapt to changing site conditions and work efficiently in various weather conditionsnEnsure compliance with project specifications and quality standardsnContribute to overall project success by maintaining productivity and attention to detailnAssist the crew on-site as requirednnExperience and Certification Requirements:nnMinimum 3 years' experience in heavy civil earthworks, construction.nMinimum 2 years' of experience operating a scraper.nUnderstanding of computerized controls and electronics.nConstruction Safety Training Systems (CSTS 09 or 2020), WHMIS 2015, and ground disturbance 201 are required.nA successful pre-access drug and Alcohol test may be required depending on the project.nValid class 5 or better driver's license with clean drivers abstract valid within 30 days of employment.nYou have the ability to quickly identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes and produce workable solutions and work positively within a team to achieve a common goal.nLeadership for Safety Excellence.
