Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Oncology RN with chemotherapy administration experience to join our outpatient/ambulatory oncology team. This is a day shift position with no nights or weekends, offering an excellent work-life balance. Ideal candidates are experienced in administering chemo/immunotherapy in a clinical setting and are committed to delivering high-quality cancer care. Key Responsibilities:
Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments in accordance with ONS guidelines.
Monitor and manage treatment side effects and provide patient education.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Document all patient care activities and treatment responses accurately.
May participate in a Saturday call rotation (approx. once every 11 weeks). Schedule:
Hours: 36 hours/week (4 days 9-hour shifts)
Days: Monday-Friday
Time: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
On-call: Possible Saturday rotation every 11 weeks
No nights or regular weekends required Qualifications:
Experience:
Prior experience in oncology nursing required
Chemo administration experience is mandatory
Ambulatory/outpatient setting experience preferred
Licensure:
Massachusetts RN license required
License may be applied for at time of offer; proof of application must be provided
Certifications:
Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification through ONS - Required
BLS & ACLS - Required
OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) - Preferred but not required Ideal Candidate:
