Student Assistant to People & Culture

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical and structured Student Assistant to join our People & Culture team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn about People and Culture operations and work with people data, while supporting various team initiatives and daily tasks. You'll gain valuable insights and experience across different organizational areas, making it a great start for a career in People & Culture.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Onboarding and Employee Support:

Manage hire and preboarding processes in HRIS (Workday).

Arrange onboarding days and maintain materials.

Respond to queries from new employees and internal participants.

Data Management and Quality:

Ensure data quality and updates in HRIS.

Support data audits and maintain People & Culture intranet materials.

Create reports based on data requests.

General Tasks:

Respond to employee and manager inquiries.

Support team operations and ad hoc tasks, including archiving documents.

Qualifications

Detail-oriented and analytical mindset.

Interest in People & Culture functions and operations.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Eager to learn and work with people data.

Currently enrolled in a relevant educational program on Bachelor or Masters level.

Ability to learn and navigate different systems effectively.

Familiarity with Workday or similar HRIS systems is an advantage.
