Location: Tempe, AZ (Hybrid - 2-days a week in office)Job Type: Contract Full-Time On-Call Rotation Required

Position Summary

The Senior Application Developer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of packaged and custom software solutions that support Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) applications. This role demands technical expertise, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to deliver scalable and reliable software solutions in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy high-quality applications using modern frameworks and languages.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with existing applications, ensuring system availability and performance.

Create custom software tools and applications in response to specific business needs.

Analyze data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.

Coordinate vendor relationships and manage vendor application support.

Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to support critical systems.

Maintain thorough documentation of system architecture, code changes, and application processes.

Utilize Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to support project planning and execution. Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution.

Experience: Extensive experience in application development within enterprise-level IT/OT environments. Technical Skills

Proficiency in:

C#, .NET (MVC, WPF, MVVM)

HTML, CSS, Angular

SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL

Python

Azure DevOps (pipelines, Git repos)

Experience designing and implementing web services (REST, SOAP).

Strong understanding of relational database systems and data modeling.

Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure. Core Competencies

Background supporting industrial or utility-based applications.

Knowledge of IT/OT convergence and cybersecurity principles.

Experience in high-availability or regulated environments.
