Onsite -Systems Engineer (Mid-Level) - Direct Hire - Clearwater, FL

Position Overview

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with 4-5 years of aerospace or defense engineering experience to support the design, integration, and verification of electro-mechanical and avionics systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to grow, and comfortable working in a regulated, compliance-driven engineering environment. Key Responsibilities

Support the design, analysis, and integration of electro-mechanical and avionics systems.

Develop and execute system requirements, verification plans, and test procedures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in engineering, manufacturing, and quality to ensure seamless product development.

Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and troubleshooting efforts.

Assist in preparing and maintaining system-level documentation (interface control documents, test reports, compliance records).

Contribute to compliance with FAA, military, and industry standards such as DO-160, DO-254, and MIL-STD-810.

Provide technical support during prototype builds, system testing, and production release. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or related field).

4-5 years of relevant aerospace or defense engineering experience.

Familiarity with FAA, DO-160, DO-254, or MIL-STD-810 compliance standards.

Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS, Reqtify, or equivalent).

Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA V5, or AutoCAD.

Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering or related discipline.

Experience with embedded systems or avionics software.

Exposure to Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma practices.
