We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time on-site position located in Sidney, OH. This role will play a key part in ensuring product quality, process efficiency, and continuous improvement across the quality department. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in quality control procedures, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor, control, and perform the product inspection process, analyze inspection data, and identify trends or areas for improvement.
• Responsible for investigating and identifying the causes of nonconforming semi-finished and finished goods.
• Ensure daily quality control lab equipment is in good condition.
• Create and maintain SOP for testing process/requirements.
• Oversee the procurement, maintenance, and technical service coordination of inspection equipment.
• Communicate effectively across all departments.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 2+ years of experience in quality engineering.
• Proven experience with various inspection equipment.
• Strong statistical and analytical skills are required such as CMK, CPK, and PPK.
• Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO or IATF 16949.
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
