The primary responsibilities include managing all aspect of the SharePoint service including, but not limited to solution architecture, design, deployment, integration, support and technical project management. This position will be the technical lead for a greenfield deployment of a SharePoint 2016 hybrid environment. This individual will work with internal teams across Digital Technology and the business.
It's essential for the candidate be able to be able to work in a deadline driven and fast paced environment. Availability to participate in a 7x24 on call rotation and off-hours work is required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Install, configure, monitor and maintain a highly available and site resilient SharePoint infrastructure
SharePoint 2016 and SPO administration, deployment and upgrade
Provide technical leadership for SharePoint service
Engage in cross functional teams to successfully deploy and maintain the SharePoint service
Evangelize SharePoint capabilities, solutions and features to technical team
Create and maintain technical documentation: architectural, run book, and disaster recover Essential Skills
SharePoint Subject Matter Expertise (SME) is a must
Excellent written and verbal skills
Foster teamwork and collaborative environment
SharePoint Administration: Site Creation, PowerShell Scripting, Site Collection Management, Back\Restore
Exceptional Problem Resolution and Troubleshooting Skills
Troubleshooting tools: Fiddler, Netmon, WireShark, Promon, etc.
Office 365 administration: SharePoint Online and OneDrive
Identity and Access Management (AD, Azure AD, Forefront Identity Manager (FIM)
Windows Server Administration, including SQL and IIS Education/Work Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related Majors required.
5 - 8 years of industry experience, in IT field is required.
Knowledgeable in new and emerging technologies.
Experience with SharePoint Governance
Experience with SharePoint workflow and/or 3rd party solutions
Experience with Microsoft Exchange, Lync\Skype, or Office 365 is a plus
Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management concepts and best practices is a plus
Experience in Financial industry is a plus
