Apogee Solutions, a Woman-Owned Small Business, is seeking multiple Senior Solutions Technical Experts (SSTE) to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Resources & Personnel Integration, J-8 Financial Operations in Falls Church, VA. Qualified candidates must be a US Citizen.
The SSTEs will provide technical expertise for Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) activities to ensure the efficient and effective management of healthcare finances with the Military Health System (MHS). The J-8 is responsible for the financial management of the DHA to include systematic planning, programming, budgeting, execution, accounting, and auditing of funds that support the entire MHS.
The SSTEs will be assigned a specific area of focus to include one of the following: Supply; PathNet; Patient Accounting; Training; Business Standards and Workflow; Business Support; Registration, Scheduling, Appointing, and Patient Care Location; Referral Management, Forms and Documentation, and Orders, Rules, and Alerts. Within this area of focus the SSTE will:
Provide RCM and Solution Owner support in the context of MHS GENESIS optimization, enhancement, and ongoing operations to include backend system maintenance.
Support the development of a resolution tracker with Key Performance Indicators linked to Health Informatics Division and J-8 ticket queues.
Maintain a monthly workplan and system build tracker.
Prepare the J-8 for a potential transition to Oracle Health's Patient Accounting solution by assessing current processes, identifying gaps, and developing strategies to align current revenue cycle operations with the new module's capabilities.
Recommend new and emerging technologies to streamline revenue cycle operations to reduce human errors and increase efficiency and accuracy. Required Experience:
Must be a US Citizen
At least 4 years of experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR), prior experience with Oracle/Cerner EHR and RCM highly preferred
Working knowledge of EHR system configuration and the ability to perform optimization, reconfiguration, and enhancements to address current and future gaps impacting workload and revenue capture
Ability to perform validation testing of the EHR systemic builds within the RCM solution set
Familiarity with ticket queuing systems issue resolution process
Prior experience with the development, modification, optimization, and integration of RCM workflows into clinical workflows, to include knowledge of system errors caused by outdated or incorrectly built workflows with ability to troubleshoot/identified impacted workflows requiring review and potential medication, highly preferred Skills & Requirements Qualifications Apogee Solutions is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
