Position Details:

Start Date: August 2025 for the 25/26 school year

Hours: Full-time (30+ hours/week)

Grade Levels: K-12 students

Compensation: Starting at $45/hour (based on experience)

Licensure: Must have an active SLP License in Ohio

Certifications: Must have CCC's

Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills.

Develop tailored therapy plans and goals based on assessment findings and individual student needs.

Provide direct therapy services focusing on articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.

Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and educators to support students' communication goals across various settings.

Utilize evidence-based techniques and engaging activities during therapy sessions to promote development.

Track students' progress and adapt therapy plans as necessary for optimal outcomes.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and related information.

Participate in IEP meetings and offer insights regarding students' speech and language needs.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Current ASHA certification required.

Genuine enthusiasm for working with K-12 students in an onsite setting.

Experience with speech-language therapy in school or pediatric environments.

Familiarity with assessment tools and therapeutic approaches used in pediatric speech-language pathology.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with students, parents, and staff.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience in teletherapy is a plus.

Knowledge of AAC systems and assistive technology used in therapy is preferred.
