The Emergency Department operates 24 hours a day and is a designated Level III Trauma Center.

Job Summary:

Accepts responsibility, accountability and authority as a unit manager on a 24-hour basis.

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations and staff of the ED.

Ensures high-quality patient care.

Manage scheduling.

Responsible for hiring, counseling and termination.

Staff development and team building.

Conflict resolution and peer communication.

Coordinate Maintenance of equipment and supplies.

Trauma coordinator reports directly to Director of Emergency Department.

Coordinates with the multidisciplinary team to maintain functional clinical pathways. Qualifications:

Current Oregon RN License.

Bachelor' degree preferred.

Current BLS, PALS and ACLS.

Demonstrated leadership qualities; good communication skills, ability to inspire confidence in others.

Ability to plan, implement and evaluate change, commitment to promoting growth of others.

Maintain knowledge base of current nursing practices. Benefits:
