Driver Helper

Classification: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Collections Manager/Store Manager

Job overview:

Seeking enthusiastic, results-driven driver helpers who excel in a fast-paced, structured environment. Ideal candidates have a strong work ethic, a commitment to excellence, and exceptional customer service skills. A passion for serving the community and making a positive impact is essential.

Full time, first shift, fixed schedule with weekend work. Job can be physically demanding and require some heavy lifting but can be rewarding as well. Good job for returning military.

Demonstrate outstanding customer service to all donors and customers

Help the driver maintain donation box and donation station sites for collections

Assist on two-man residential special routes, garage sales pick-ups, estates sale pick-ups, and fundraiser drive pick-ups

Assist with collection box and trailer site placements and removals

Help unload collections from truck(s) at the end of the routes

Maintain clean and orderly donation sites and routes based on company operational protocols and standards

Work safely and efficiently in loading and unloading trucks and trailers

Possess the ability to regularly work in the heat, the cold and in wet weather conditions Qualifications:

Must possess valid state driver's license

Must be 21 years or older

Applicant must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly

Capable of bending, stooping, crouching, pushing, pulling and climbing stairs and in and out of a truck frequently Education and Experience:

High School Degree, GED or equivalent work experiences.
