Position at Putnam Hospital Center

JOB SUMMARY: Performs a variety of clerical and computer related activities and phlebotomy with minimal supervision. This individual interacts with patients of all ages.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Licensure/Registration/Certification: None

Work Experience: General office experience and phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform phlebotomy procedures as necessary. Some lifting, bending, and stretching is required.

Work Environment/Hazards: Specimen handling, bio-hazard waste, chemical handling.

Job Relationships: Responsible to the Lab Manager or designee. Works with all members of the Department and interacts with other members of the hospital staff.
